Andrew Fyson, biologist and nature photographer will lead a tour of the DCA’s Settlement Lands on Saturday afternoon February 6th from 1 pm to 3 pm. We will meet at the corner of Central (Pickles) Road and Chickadee Place. As the DCA’s former Lands Manager, Andrew knows the Settlement Lands in detail. This interesting parcel sits at the heart of the island but despite its interesting history and unique natural features, it is largely unknown to most islanders. This is a rare chance to tour and learn about the properties with an expert. So wear some waterproof footwear and join us on February 6th.
