Today was a good day for a walk from Morning Beach Park on Denman Island to Tree Island. The tides will be suitable for that walk for the next several days. Spring flowers are showing well with pink Sea Blush everywhere and blue delphiniums out.

Menzies’ Larkspur, Dephinium menziesii
Sea blush, Plectritis congesta
I havn’t identified the little yellow daisies, below:

  1. Hi John,
I saw these flowers on Tree Island in 2013, and I think Jenny agreed that they were Gold stars, Crocidium multicaule. (It was Mar.20, 2013 by the way, guess they stay out for awhile.) I just checked my photos and they certainly look the same.
