Low tide beach walk: Sunday June 23rd. John Tayless will lead this exploration of the low-tide zone on the lowest tide this summer. On Cable Beach, below the corner where East Road meets Denman Road. Meet at 11 am.
Central Park: Saturday June 1st. Meet Andrew at the Old School Farmer’s Market, 11 am. An introduction to DCA’s most visited conservation and recreation area. Discuss Checkerspot butterfly habitat needs.
Settlement Lands: Tuesday, June 4th. Meet Andrew at the junction of Chickadee Place and Central Road, 7 pm. Visit DCA’s least used site and little known hidden treasures.
